Call for Applications for EQAO’s Student Engagement Committee

EQAO Student Engagement Committee Application, 2022–2023

Do you want to impact Ontario students’ educational experience? Are you a student in a school in Ontario? Will you be in Grades 7–12 during the 2022–2023 school year? EQAO’s Student Engagement Committee is seeking representatives.

The Student Engagement Committee fosters conversations between Ontario’s students and EQAO. Students are at the centre of EQAO’s work, and we value learners’ perspectives on everything we do.

The Student Engagement Committee meets virtually three times during the school year. These meetings allow committee members to provide feedback and advice on key areas of focus. Student voices and experiences help EQAO to advance its goal of continuous improvement.

EQAO encourages applications from students from diverse backgrounds to seek inclusive and equitable perspectives and lived experiences. As an accessible agency, we offer accommodations as required, including during the recruitment process.

EQAO celebrates student diversity across the province. In the selection of committee members, representation of students’ experiences and perspectives is of utmost importance.
