The French Immersion Glossary lists terms to assist French Immersion students writing the mathematics components of the assessments.
Mathematical formulas are provided on the Formula Sheets for student reference during the assessment. Formulas are given for perimeter, area and volume for various geometric figures; the academic formula sheet also includes surface area.
Throughout the assessment, key words are used to identify the type of response required from students.
EQAO assessments are scored using rubrics. The Grade 9 rubrics for mathematics give the criteria for scoring and describe the type of student response that receives each of the codes.
