Below you will find a portion of the 2012 OSSLT items (questions). This year only OSSLT Booklet 2 has been released. The released OSSLT materials are actual items (questions and prompts) and instructions from the test booklet students used. They do not include field-test materials. For the 2013 OSSLT, Booklet 1 will be released.
A partial release of test items each year will enable EQAO to build up a bank of items for use in future years.
The items below can be used individually or in combination as instructional tools or for classroom assessments, and they can be used by educators, parents and students to support literacy improvement.
