The OSSLT released materials contain actual items (questions and prompts) from the test with the same instructions as in the test booklets. These released items have been used to compute students’ scores and do not include field-test materials. The items, the blank student answer sheet, the samples of student work with annotations and the multiple-choice answer key can be used in combination or individually as instructional tools or for classroom assessments. These materials can be used by educators, parents and students to support literacy improvement.
