Student Assessment Booklets and Scoring Guides (test questions and examples of student answers)

New Booklet Layout for 2015 Assessments

The layout of student assessment booklets for 2015 has changed. Students will now record all of their responses—both multiple-choice and open-response—in a separate Answer Booklet. This change is necessary to support online scoring, which will start for all assessments in 2015 as part of the “EQAO Online” project to move the provincial assessment program online.

Examples of the new assessment booklet layout for 2014–2015 are available below.

Click the links below to access student assessment booklets containing actual questions from the assessments, and scoring guides containing examples of student answers taken from past years’ assessments.

2014–2015 (Example of New Layout) | 2013–2014 | 2012–2013 | 2011–2012 | 2010–2011 | 2009–2010

Additional Tasks: These tasks have been used in a previous assessment. Teachers may use them as instructional tools or for classroom assessment with students in either applied or academic programs.
