The Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) is an independent agency of the Government of Ontario, dedicated to enhancing and improving the academic achievement of students through large-scale assessment and research. EQAO’s assessments measure student attainment in reading, writing, and mathematics, providing objective information and advice to government, the public, and the education community about the quality of Ontario’s publicly funded education. As EQAO’s next Chief Executive Officer, you will report to the Chair and Board of Directors, working with them to define the Agency’s future vision, evolving approaches, and operating plans, and providing leadership and direction for strategic planning, priority-setting, and program delivery.
