The “SDC Timelines” list the important dates for the Student Data Collection (SDC) system process. They indicate the critical tasks that school administrators must perform during each phase of data collection to ensure that test materials are properly ordered and student information is accurate.

Bulletin for Teachers

Formula Sheets

Mathematical formulas are provided on the Formula Sheets for student reference during the assessment. Formulas are given for perimeter, area and volume for various geometric figures; the academic formula sheet also includes surface area.

Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics Administration Guide, 2014

This guide has been developed to provide direction and information to principals and teachers administering the Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics in winter or spring 2014. Administering the assessment according to the guidelines in this document will ensure province-wide consistency before, during and after the administration.

Framework

This framework provides a detailed description of the EQAO Grade 9 Assessment of Mathematics, which is conducted each year in Ontario. It also describes how the Grade 9 assessment aligns with the expectations in The Ontario Curriculum.

Rubrics

EQAO assessments are scored using rubrics. The Grade 9 rubrics for mathematics give the criteria for scoring and describe the type of student response that receives each of the codes.

Investigations
